How to redirect the error of a source Flat file to the Destination Flat file?

Hi all,

I m using SSIS and i am transfering the data from Flat File Source to the OLE DB destination File. The source file contain some corrupt data which i am transfering to the other Flat file destination file.

Debugging is succesful but i am not getting any error output in the Flat file destination file.

i had done exactly which is written in the msdn tutorial of SSIS.

Plz tell me why i am not getting the error output in the destination flat file?

thanx

have you set the Error Output to "Redirect Row" on the task ?

How to redirect report to a frame?

Hi,
I've a web application. The default page consists of
three frames. 'List bar frame', 'Banner frame' and 'Main
frame'. Reports are displayed on this 'Main frame'.
I've a report which has got a column which is linked to
another report. I want the second report to be displayed
in the same frme ('Main frame'). Right now while
clicking the link column, report is displayed in the
parent frame, there by I'm loosing list bar and banner in
the application. How do I do this?
thanks,
DeeWhen you access the parent report in your frame, add the URL access
parameter rc:LinkTarget=framename. This will target all of the hyperlinks in
the report. You can also do stuff like rc:LinkTarget=_blank to open in a new
window.

using Jump to report method for calling 2nd report.

adding rc:LinkTarget. I know it is not ideal, but it is the suggested
workaround for your scenario.

How to redirect a DTS package and connections

Hi,

I have a DTS package (SQL2k, sp3) that I can to execute agains a new
database in the same server. I don't see how to easily redirect. If you
change the connection properties and clear the transformations you have to
redo them one at a time (too long).

If you don't data still goes to the old database.

What to do?

Check out the dynamic properties task - it allows you to set any properties
dynamically as the package is running. In this case, you could have a global
variable to store the database name, and use the task to assign it to the
connection. At runtime, you can pass the value for the global variable to
dtsrun.exe, or get it from an .INI file or SELECT query.
